Monday 22 June at 11.00am Passed away suddenly at home on 14 June 2026 surrounded by his family. Dearly loved husband of Christine; wonderful dad of Avril and Brent, Bridget and Oliver, Matthew and Nicky, David and Kylie, Helen and Joe, Simon and Tuaine; grandad of Vincent and Sarah, Zac and Victoria, Ally, Zoe and Cory, Elijah, Jacob and Nattaly, Charlie, Tyler, Harry, Ryder, Seth, Ava, Isaac, Bella, Erica, Carter, Sammy, and Mateo; great grandad of Sadie and Bobby; loved son, brother, uncle and Councillor Extraordinaire!!! May He Rest in Peace. The family would like to express our deepest appreciation for the amazing work of the first responders. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance (www.wfa.org.nz/donate) would be appreciated. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in Te Rauparaha Arena, 17a Parumoana Street, Porirua on Monday 22 June at 11.00am and thereafter interment at Whenua Tapu Cemetery.
